CBC/Radio-Canada's Presidents and Chairs

Over the years, these people have guided the destiny of one of the country’s largest cultural institutions: CBC/Radio-Canada.

As the Corporation’s President or Board Chair, they faced challenges that were similar to what we are experiencing today and others that were unique to their time. They constantly rose to these challenges, driven by their passion for preserving CBC/Radio-Canada and ensuring its continued existence.

This special commemorative section was created as part of CBC/Radio-Canada's 75th anniversary celebrations. We encourage you to learn more about the men and women who played a key role in shaping Canada’s public broadcaster since 1936.
