BOX SET
75 ANS, 75 CHANSONS
For 75 years, Radio-Canada has been a major supporter of Canada’s French-language music scene. This has given the public broadcaster a unique window on the industry’s development, vitality, and vibrance. Over the years, through such programs as Chez Miville, Le quart d’heure de la bonne chanson, Les refrains d’abord and Studio 12, Radio-Canada has captured many magic moments – a host of artists expressing themselves musically, composing music, or covering songs that have earned their place in our history.
The 75 ANS, 75 CHANSONS box set brings together a few of those defining moments in song that have touched us all, from 1936 to 2011. The box set includes five CDs, as well as a booklet of photos and some very telling details about the songs.
